Progress from Dewey's 24 Hr Readathon

I participated in the readathon but didn't post on the blog about it before the big event. I got a late start yesterday on reading, and only read for about six hours. During that time I spent all of it just reading one book, and I was able to finish it. It was a cozy mystery book called Shunned and Dangerous by Laura Bradford. I have already started on the 4th book in the series called Suspendered Sentence. Dewey's 24 Hr Readathonn is international and I love to read the posts on Facebook and blogs. Their next event is on Oct. 21 2017. Here is a picture of what books I thought I would want to read during yesterday's event.

Deweys 24-HR Readathon Sign Up

I forgot to previously post what books I will be reading tomorrow for the readathon. It will be a short list and includes one that I have been currently reading;

  • The Plain Choice by Sherry Gore (I think about 30% percent completed, it is a pretty small book)
  • A Daughter's Dream by Shelley Shepard Gray
  • Fruit of All Evil by Paige Shelton
  • I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells
I am not going to list more as I don't think I will be even able to complete all of these.

I didn't get far at all...

 On the Dewey's 24 hour Readathon. I had a exam and then later on in the day had to watch my favorite college football team play. Then I saw on tv that some of the Harry Potter movies were playing, and then it was kind of all downhill from there after watching two movies. I also made some homemade soup and homemade rolls for dinner. I did read about 30 pages though, I guess that is better than none, not as much as I would have originally liked though. I hope to read more today of the Hostage Taker, and yesterday I did not read any other book than this one. Now I am about halfway done, it is interesting so far, although I think I have figured something out that the main character hasn't yet in the book. We shall see though.

Late to the Readathon!

24hrreading2-thumb  I am late in joining the Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon as it started a few hours ago. Somehow I totally missed that this was going to start today. I thought I had previously signed up to get emails in regards to when this readathon is one, but apparently that was not the case. It wouldn't have changed my starting the readathon late today anyways, as I had a test that was the priority today. Now, that is accomplished I plan on at least doing some reading today. There is no way that I will get any of these books finished today, as I have only started two of them, I figure though any progress is better than none.
