Have you purchased or started any good craft projects lately? I recently purchased this one, and plan on starting it later this month. It will be for one of my grandmothers who love's birds. I thought it was pretty cute, and it is a small counted cross stitch project only 6 inches by 6 inches.

Future Projects for Next Week?
I have a few projects that I want to either start or finish next week. I am not sure if I will be able to get to all of them, but I can at least try, right?
Off and on I have been working on a English Paper Piecing project, and there is still a long ways to go. While shopping the other day though, I found this fabric which I think will be good as a backing for a English Paper Piecing project.
I think that this will work great, even though my project right now isn't in a flower theme like the backing fabric above is.
I also got some panel fabric, that I think will go good with our kitchen table, that will be made into placemats.
At first I didn't really care for the fabric, however it did grow on me. Comparing it to the table above, I think the fabric was a good one.
I found that Joann's had some tatting needles, so I picked them up along with a little bit of new thread. Here is a picture of the burgundy colored thread, although it looks hot pink in the photo.

Still more to go...
on my june 12 for 2012 project, as I mentioned in my last post I won't be getting this done by the closing ceremony of the Olympics tonight. At least with this cross stitch project there is quite a bit of sections with just one color, so I hope to get alot done this coming week. Here is my progress since Friday, sorry the photo isn't too great;

Haven't posted in awhile...
May was a busy month, and I know that June will be even more so. Still, I do hope to be able to contribute more to my blog. I may not have too much to show as far as crafts go though. I still have Tinkerbell to finish yet. It will need to be finished soon. I can hardly believe that the Olympics start next month, and am thinking of what craft I should do while watching. Does everyone have a project planned out? I have a few ideas, and can't decide if I want to just work on one project or two. I guess only choosing one might be better to ensure it is completed, but still just in case I get bored.

Past Projects Completed...
Here are pictures of projects that I have completed in the past. This includes items that are not cross stitch as well, I know a shocker, since I have usually just shown cross stitch. All of the items below were gifts for family members or charities. I hand pieced the double wedding ring, but then machine quilted it.
