More Work Needed....

to complete these projects of various crafts I have been working on.

I will start with the projects I have had for the longest.

I have picked up the hand quilting for Mr. Crafts4Others quilt. I have found one or two thimbles that I really like and at the same time been testing various types of quilting hoops/stands. I was quilting away on Monday while listening to the Senate.

I am a few days behind on knitting the 2017 Temperature Afghan, but this progress goes to the 3rd of Feb. I will get to add yellow again once I get caught up as yesterday it was 74!

I haven't crocheted on this baby afghan until the 2nd of Feb., but I got a little bit more complete.

The newest project was put in by request by Mr. Crafts4others it is knited in the garter stitch to keep the keyboard of his computer from sliding on his desk.

What are you working on?

Behind on Classics Club and other things....

I have gotten really behind in reading books that are on my classics club list. I was unable to finish or even get halfway into my Spin List book of The Railway Children by time the event ended. I hope to get more books read in the next month though.

Lest you think it is just reading that has gotten behind, it is also my crafts and love of writing as well. While in some ways I have gotten better in feeling better in others not as much or at all. I made this quilt block about a month ago. It only took me about a half hour or a little more with the sewing and cutting, but unfortunately paid for it afterwards by being in pain in my hands and arms that lasted for hours. Love this block though and hope to make lots of them sometime in the coming months. Enough typing for today as my hands are causing me problems now.

Projects...

Here are just a few of the projects I plan on starting & completing this year.
This is a Mirabilia cross stitch pattern that I want to make for my mom, and of course for myself as well. Love this pattern.
This one will be for our house. What better place than the kitchen? My husband liked this one as well. Hopefully to have it completed in December 2012.
My mother loves to read, so I will be making this bookmark for her birthday.
My husband loves Halloween, and he loves these type of items. So this one will be hanging up in our house in October.
My sister has always loved music. This will be her birthday gift and I thought it would have a nice place to hang up in her office.
Just in case you thought all I did for crafts was cross stitching, here is a small wall hanging. This will be for my grandmothers birthday this year. I plan on trying to do as much as possible by hand, even the quilting. I love to hand piece items.

This kit is made from the same company of the Harbor Lights cross stitch that is previously on my blog. I was delighted to find this Golfing one, as my dad loves this hobby.

I plan on making some type of quilt for my husband this year. He loves this kind of homespun fabric (so do I).
