Crafty Gifts Received for Christmas

I received several crafty gifts that I had on my wishlist. I have been wanting some of these items for quite awhile and really excited to get started. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/holiday!  For next year I have joined a few stitch a longs, and will be showing some items I hope to complete.

2015 WIPocalypse Signup

 I haven't participated in this monthly stitch-a-long really since 2013 and even then I wasn't able to due that much because of physical therapy then. I am slowly getting back to crafts trying to accomplish a little bit at a time, so not sure how much I will get done. The project that I have worked on the longest and will be working on until it is completed is below, which will be a gift for my sister, I am about halfway to the rose (I don't have a current picture). The last time I worked on this I had lost my place, eeeek!!! So I hope to get back to it and find out where I was!

Love Challenges or SAL?

I found these challenges/SAL (stitch a longs) for hexagons and cross stitch. I love both of them! If you love hexagons and Grandmothers Flower Garden (GFG) design, check out One Flower Wednesday. People make a GFG and post it on their blog every Wednesday. The SAL is for cross stitch called International Hermit & Weekend (IHSW), to spend time every third weekend o fthe month working on a cross stitch project, then of course posting the progress on after that weekend.
