  1. I like most of your classics selections--the ones by Jane Austen the most. "Heart of Darkness" didn't grab me like it apparently grabs many readers--I guess everyone's a little different.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only reader who goes through occasional slumps where they feel like they're not reading as much as normal.

    1. thank you. I haven't gotten very far on Heart of Darkness (it includes several other short stories with it), only the first short story or so. I didn't care for the short story, the writing made it a little confusing. I guess perhaps that is why I am not too enthused to actually read the book.

I just got done reading Emma today and really enjoyed it. In some ways I liked it better than Pride and Prejudice, as the characters thoughts were more known to us readers.

    1. thanks, I just finished Emma and loved it. I think the style of writing was a little better, than in Pride and Prejudice. Which Austen book is your favorite? This is only the second one I have read so far, but plan on reading the others.
