Dewey's 24-Hour Readathon Wrap Up

24hrreading2-thumb I was only able to read about 150 pages for this readathon, but it was a vast improvement over the last time only 30 pages. This was mostly for the Man In the High Castle, except for the first chapter in Northanger Abbey. By last Sunday night though I completed reading the Man In the High Castle. I think I actually prefer the tv series to the book, the book was more philosophical and was vastly different.  I started reading The Sudden Arrival of Violence last Sunday and was finished by Tuesday, it was a great conclusion to the trilogy but was a little surprised by one or two things that occured. I am also now halfway through An Unbroken Heart. What are you currently reading?

Late on my Spin Results!

I am late on this post but the lucky Spin number was 8, which for me is Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. I do not know much about this book and never seen any movie about it before. All I know it is seems sort of like a mystery/ghost type book. I need to have the book read by May 2. We shall see how far along I get.

Almost time for Austen in August! Master List

Main Image

I have participated in this reading challenge for the past two years, and will do so this year for the third time. Since I have not read all of Jane Austen's books, I hope to read Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey. Have you read either one of these books, did you enjoy them? Do you plan on joining me in this reading challenge?
